A fun family weekend of burro and llama races, kiddie pack dog races, gold panning, a parade, outhouse races, BBQ and barn dance, pancake breakfast and music with 170 craft and food vendors.

In the Old Town Square of Downtown Ft. Collins is juried event and a premier showcase of some of Colorado’s Best Handmade Arts, Crafts, and Goods. Art in the Square is an annual summer celebration that will feature a vast array of independent designers producing original handcrafted goods from a wide array of media including metals, paper, glass, fibers, food, fabricated objects, clay, paint, wax, gems, and more. All work sold will be created from both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado. This event has free admission and some great Local live music. Come support your local artists and craftspeople in their pursuit of creativity made by hand.

The Gold Rush Days are held in beautiful McPhelemy Park located in the center of town with towering Cottonwood trees and a small lake. There are 120 vendors with music, civil-war re-enactments, kayak demonstrations, toilet seat, duck and burro races, and a beer garden so you’re never thirsty.
